I understand the idea of a texture generally is to create a pattern that can work as a repeat to cover a surface, or object etc In saying this i looked at the 36 of them all together and realised that they actually work better as they are, as a collection. I decided to use this idea in on the Sketchup Model.
The dome, part of the upstairs studio is opaque and filters light down to the ground or entry level of the building. as it is extremely busy in itself, i didnt wish to take away from the art in the gallery too much and chose to leave the opening to the dome relitively small.
